Hi! I’m a senior studying Public Policy and French with an Ethics certificate. I chose these majors because I’m interested in how policy decisions are made from the local community to international level. I also think there’s a lot of room in government for improvement, social justice, and more equity. I’m not sure what I’m doing next year, but I think that’s okay right now.
"Thank you for applying but..."

Organizing my files and Google Drive
So many postcards
A journal about time during Covid
A research project
The readings for some of my classes

When my dog poops, and I’m out of bags
Running out of eggs in the fridge

On the Bright Side
Memories I made when I wasn't working/studying
I remember drawing pictures in the Link on the whiteboard
I remember picnics in the gardens
I remember spontaneous Cookout trips
I remember taking the time to have real conversations with other students and create friendships
I remember exploring cafes in Paris and just walking around
I remember going on walks to buy flowers
Things I've learned that will still matter in 10 years
I am stronger than I think
There’s always something new that I can learn no matter how old I get
People come in and out of my life, and there isn’t always a why. It’s normal.
It’s okay to cry.
Everyone has a different perspective. Listen and try to understand how they see the world.
Sometimes meeting new people is just about putting yourself out there in a social setting.
What other people think doesn’t matter; in fact, they’re probably worried about the same thing.
Don’t take anything for granted.
Always have a pet... they rock.
Check-in with someone different once a day, whether you know them well or not. They’ll probably appreciate it.
TV shows, movies, and books I've enjoyed

Normal People by Sally Rooney
The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett
The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead

Being a good sister
Being a good daughter
