Katherine is a junior majoring in Civil Engineering (Environmental and Water Resources track) and pursuing a Certificate in Energy and the Environment. She loves creating art and different forms of media to communicate ideas that she finds important. In the future, she hopes to work on impactful research and engineering projects that have to do with providing access to clean water, addressing climate change, and environmental justice.

A couple bad grades (and even many bad grades) do not affect the course of your life in any significant way
Rest is a crucial part of sustaining the work that you care about
Writing things down (to-dos, your thoughts, random ideas) helps to organize your life
Mental health is just as important as physical health
Success is a very subjective term, and it's important to create your own measures of success that don't have to do with position or status
